Student Life First-Generation Students
First Generation Students are vibrant and strong members of the Westmont community. Approximately 20% of our students identify as “first gen,” meaning that they have not had a parent or guardian graduate from a four year college in the United States. Often FirstGen students need additional support from Westmont to navigate all the information and experiences that have not been part of their family background. We are here for FirstGen students! From your first encounter with Westmont to the time you graduate, we provide resources and support to help you flourish!
