Steps to Apply
Discover everything you need to know about applying to Westmont as an veteran student, including requirements, deadlines, and application steps, below.
1.
Apply Online
Westmont does not require a specified number of units/credits before applying. Westmont utilizes both our personalized application and the Common App. There is no preference and both are free of charge.

Send Transcripts
Request official transcripts of all college and high school work to be submitted directly from school officials. If filing the Common App, the request may be processed online through that application process.
3.
Submit Official SAT or ACT Test Scores
Applicants who have completed less than 24-semester units of academic coursework at the time of application must also include official ACT or SAT scores.
4.
Send Reference Letter(s)
Westmont requires one academic reference from a teacher in a major subject (i.e. English, Science, History, Math, etc.). In addition, an optional pastoral/character reference may be submitted. The reference forms may be accessed within either application.
5.
Interview (Optional)
The Office of Admissions recommends campus visits and interviews. Scheduling an appointment with your admission counselor to discuss your plan is encouraged, especially as you prepare to take the next step in your education.

- Obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Send the Certificate of Eligibility and any questions you may have to Westmont's School Certifying Official
- Enroll as a full time student and confirm your desire to use your veterans benefits with the School Certifying Official when asked prior to the start of each semester
